Biffy Clyro are reportedly one of Kurt Cobain's daughters favourite bands.

The news that Frances Bean Cobain loves their music is sure to delight Nirvana super-fans Bifffy, with lead singer Simon Neil sporting a tattoo on his arm inspired by the artwork to the band's album 'In Utero'.

'Many Of Horror' band Biffy were given the news by Frances' mother, Courtney Love. “It kind of took us aback,” Neil told Absolute Radio. Adding: “It’s bizarre to comprehend but a nice thing to say.”

Frances Bean Cobain and Courtney Love are no longer on speaking terms with the 19 year old recently slamming her Mother and suggesting that Twitter ban her from their social network so to stop her publishing any more crazy antics.

Meanwhile, Biffy Clyro will be making their musical return in 2012 with a brand new, double album. A trailer for the release can be seen below.
