The theme song for the upcoming James Bond movie, 'Skyfall' by Adele has been leaked online. The track was due to be unveiled until Friday October 5th.

Adele only confirmed yesterday that she had recorded the song, when she posted a photograph of the track's credits on her Twitter page. Various sources have published leaked versions of the track online, only for Adele's record label to quickly remove the offending articles from the web.

Critics hastily have analysed the snippet before it was swiftly taken down, and compared it to Dame Shirley Bassey's Bond songs 'Goldfinger' and Diamonds Are Forever'.

Adele teamed up with 77-piece orchestra for her first new track since the release of her '21' album.

“I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for Skyfall," she says. "There's a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song. But I fell in love with the script and Paul had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no brainer to do it in the end," she said.

The track will be officially unveiled this Friday (October 5th), which is also the 50th anniversary of the release of the first James Bond film, Dr. No.

Slash has recently revealed a love for Adele and her multi million sales, along with praise for Amy Winehouse.
