Exclusive: Soulwax Claim Crowds Are Much Better On Ecstasy

Soulwax and 2 Many DJs star David Dewaele claims they get a better crowd when people are on E.

Speaking during the band’s ‘Nite Versions’ tour across clubland, David admitted that although he and his bandmate brother Stephen don’t take the drug, audience reaction is much better from those high on stimulants.  

He told Gigwise: “I’m really sorry to say this but people on E make for a much better crowd.

“While the rest of the band are having a good time and doing whatever, we are Djing, so for us we’re surrounded by it but we don’t really take it.”
