The Orwells have once again hit out at Arctic Monkeys' live shows, claiming that their shows are all the same.

Earlier in 2014, the band (who previously toured with the Sheffield superstars) told Gigwise that Arctic Monkeys repeat the same performance at ever show on their tour. Now, the rising band have compared Alex Turner and co to The Backstreet Boys.

"They try and mash together genres," says The Orwells' guitarist Matt O'Keefe, in a new interview with DIY. "Kind of like the hip Backstreet Boys or something... The set list was always the same. If you saw the show once, you saw every show that they played.

"I mean, we learned lessons from good things that they did, but then also – let's not fucking do that."

After O'Keefe's initital criticism of Arctic Monkeys, Alex Turner responded in an Australian interview, saying the comments were unfair.

"I don't think that's fair [to call it synchronised]," Turner said in May of this year. "There comes a time on a tour when something works and you tend to leave it alone. We have been changing it around a little bit. You can't mess around with it too much. It's almost like the show isn't designed to be watched by the same person every night."
