When it comes to collaborators, few are as respected or prolific as Johnny Marr - so we took the time to ask him about future work with Hans Zimmer and Noel Gallagher.

Rumours have this week been circulating of Noel Gallagher appearing on stage with Marr at his massive gig at London's Brixton Academy tomorrow night (Thursday 23 October). This follows The Smiths legend lending some guitar work to one of the tracks on Gallagher's upcoming solo album, Chasing Yesterday.
However, speaking to Gigwise, Marr remained coy about the rumours.
"People keep talking to me about Noel, but I've no idea about where he is on the planet right now," Marr told Gigwise. "I got a text from him the other day. He knows the way a couple of my tunes go and he knows that I've got a couple of guitars that he can play. We just left it at that."
Meanwhile, friend and collaborator Hans Zimmer has also revealed that he has plans to work on Marr's next solo album, following their work together on the soundtracks to the likes of Inception and The Amazing Spiderman 2. We asked Marr what the collaboration would involve.
"I want him to play some synthesizers and arrange some string parts, because he's an amazing pop arranger as well," said Marr. "He's got a pop sensibility, so I'm quite interested in putting that to the test and getting him to do some electronic strings maybe, and some keyboards.
Johnny Marr's excellent new album Playland is out now - and he says he has been overwhelmed by the world's reaction to it.
"I'm just glad that people get it," said Marr. "It's obviously very pleasing when you get praise - so just more and more please, I'll take it. The fact that people get it is the most important thing, I don't have to explain it too much and people understand the kind of music I'm making and the reasons why I'm doing it. It's very gratifying to be understood. When you're younger, that's the frustrating thing."
"I don't get pissed off, it takes quite a lot to piss me off. But at the same time I understand it, I get it. It's just a question and I don't get too ancy about it. You do what you do in your music and you do it to the best of your ability, I'm my own worst critic. Then, when those criteria are met you can't really do much more than that."
He added: "People want to ask you some questions about stuff that isn't really that relevant, but there are worse things in the world, so its alright. I'm just happy to make records that I like."
