Noel Gallagher has spoken out about the idea of working with brother and former Oasis bandmate Liam, saying that he would certainly write songs for him in the future.
The High Flying Birds star is currently gearing up to release his second solo album, Chasing Yesterday - but hasn't completely turned his back on working with Liam again.
''I'd write him a few songs, I've got a few songs lying around that he'd be good at singing," he told NME. "But I'm not sure what he plans to do or if plans to do anything."
When asked about what kind of songs they would be, Noel replied: "Some fucking good ones, better than the lot he was singing last time for sure.''
Admitting that he hasn't lost contact with his brother as reports often suggest (''I see him at the football and we talk"), he also said that he thought the former Beady Eye man would return to music soon.
''Liam won't be out of the music game for long, and he shouldn't be, because there aren't many people like that still left," Noel added.
Beady Eye, Liam's post-Oasis band, announced their split back in October.
After performing an intimate gig at Tufnell Park Dome earlier this week, Noel Gallagher releases new solo album Chasing Yesterday on 2 March before embarking on a UK tour. Full dates are below. For tickets and information, visit here.
