Pay a visit to The Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen: Not only one of Leeds' finest venues and playing host to the likes of Stormzy, MNEK and Nimmo at LAL, but it's worth nipping in anyway to experience their awesome blend of good drinks, good vibes, good art and good people across three floors - not to mention, they make one hell of a pizza and burger. If the Yorkshire weather behaves itself, the roof terrace is pretty great too.
Come to the Gigwise stage at Leeds Uni Stylus: Misty Miller, Spector, The Strypes and Swim Deep, all in one place. Sounds like an amazing night to us. Come say hello.
Head over to the Symposium: One of the acclaimed fringe events at LAL2015, Black Swan are hosting a weekend of music, live art, film, food, yoga and general partying - free if you've got a Live At Leeds wristband too.
Party until late at the official afterparty: After all of the bands are done and dusted on Saturday 2 May, you should probably let the good times continue to roll at The Wardrobe, with some special guest DJs and more fun to be announced. It's on from 11pm until late and free for wristband holders before midnight.
Check out the Unconference: Music-based brain food in the form of talks, panels, lectures and more with the likes of Pulled Apart By Horses, The Listening Panel and loads more insiders, artists and experts from the music industry at Leeds College Of Music on Frida 1 May.
Stop by A Nation Of Shopkeepers: You can see H Hawkline, Jagaara, Boxed In And Real Lies, which is ace - but we also have to talk about how it's not only a gem in Leeds' glittering bar scene. They also do some pretty incredible burgers, ribs and fried chicken. (Photo: Press/Tom Joy)
Find the hidden gem of Hirst's Yard: Another fringe event, find Hist's off the beaten track on a cobbled street just off Call Lane - hosting some brilliant acoustic acts from 2pm on Saturday 2 May with the likes of Kirsty White, Richard Rands, Jessica Boswell, James Mulligan, Jimmy Mac Presents, Simon Walker Band, Jack Edwards Band and The Meddlers.
Kick things off with a bang: On 1 May, those good LAL folks are putting on some tantalizing opening parties - Darlia, Sundara Karma and The Hearts will be revving up at Brudennell Social Club, while Pulled Apart By Horses, Dinosaur Pile-Up and Allusondrugs will be at the Leeds Uni Union Stylus. These events are separately ticketed, so make sure you're prepared.
Get yourself some Extra Time: If you'll still be around on May Day Bank Holiday Monday then Goals Soccer Centre will be hosting something a little bit different for those who love music and sport. Not only will there be a Live At Leeds Football Tournament where 32 teams will compete but there will also be an acoustic stage with Esper Scout , Sons of Great Men and more as well as wood-fried pizza, a silent art auction and an emporium of stalls and pop-up shops from a creative network, dedicated to supporting independent artistic talent.
Grab a drink at Sela Bar: Another part of the fringe, Sela Bar is another favourite in Leeds for lovers of a good drink. With interesting beers and cocktails from around the world, they'll also be hosting some impressive local talent with the likes of Get Behind Me Satan, Godfathers, Zealous Doxy, Black Ribbons and loads more on Saturday 2 May.
Stop by The Faversham: You probably want to pay them a visit to catch The Amazons, Vant, The Carnabells, Pretty Vicious or Reverend & The Makers, but make sure you stick around in the Fav Conservatory and Victorian lounge for a bite and drink.
Check out some new talent at Milos: As part of the LAL Fringe, Milos will be doing what they do best - showcasing the best local acts. Head over on Saturday to see Fighting Caravans, Lissie's Heart Murmur, The Sea Whores, CryBabyCry, Big Love, Do Miss America, Esper Scout, The Velveteens and loads more.
Get Baked: A little outside of the city centre on Stainbeck Avenue, but well worth your time if you fancy a late night snack (they also deliver) - making fresh sliders, burgers, cakes, treats and American imported delights. This food will haunt your dreams.
Have a drink at Outlaws Yacht Club: Cool name, right? Well it's a pretty damn cool place - bar, restaurant, coffee shop, exhibition and workspace - and their drinks menu is eye-watering. They usually have some pretty sweet DJs on at night, so make you sure pay them a visit at some point this weekend.
