Let's break down the more obscure artists featuring on Dr Dre's highly anticipated new album. From soulful singers to underground producers, we've uncovered them all.
Marsha Ambrosius: Born in the UK, this singer-songwriter has steadily made a mark for herself in the wake of her split from the group Floetry. She turned down a contract offer from Dre and Aftermath Entertainment in 2009, going on to feature on The Game's 'Start From Scratch', Busta Rhymes' Get You Some' and Wale's 'Diary'.
Jon Connor: This rapper/producer has been signed to Dre's Aftermath Entertainment since July 2013, the artist revealing the news during the final line of his BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher. He'll feature on 'For The Love of Money' with the legendary Jill Scott.
Asia Bryant: Signed to Universal Music, Asia Bryant is a Grammy nominated songwriter who has written songs for huge performers like Jennifer Lopez and Miley Cyrus. We're sure a little feature on Dre's album won't hurt with boosting her solo career further.
Anderson Paak: With a wide vocal range and innovative RnB flow, we're excited to see how Dre crafted their track 'Medicine Man', which also features Eminem.
King Mez: This rapper/producer has a unique and tightly formed flow, recently showing off his skills with his brash and confident Beats One Radio freestyle. He'll feature on three of the album's tracks, Dre clearly taking a shining to the young artist.
BJ The Chicago Kid: With an unforgettably soulful voice, this singer came up with TDE and features on several collaborations with all of the members. We'll sure he'll be dropping some beautiful harmonies on 'It's All On Me.'
Candice Pillay: Originally hailing from South Africa, this singer songwriter delivers sweet and bubbly melodies that'll probably provide some pop relief on an otherwise dense rap album.
Justus: An incredibly underground and unknown rapper emerging from Dallas, the artist will be featuring on 3 of the album's track. We imagine he's walking around in somewhat of a daze right now...
COLD 187um: Often known as Big Hutch, this Californian rapper and producer is the lead act of the rap group Above the Law. He featured on Easy E's Dre diss EP It's on Dr Dre after he addressed their feud on The Chronic. It's interesting then that the two have cleared the air and hit the studio together.
