James Bay serenades a sold out Manchester O2 Apollo
The singer songwriter stunned on the first night of his new tour
22 September, 2015: James Bay commenced his extensive European and American tour tonight at Manchester's O2 Apollo last night.
The constantly rising singer songwriter had the same set up as his recent festival circuit, but switched up his intro with a strobe lit and energetic rendition of ‘Collide’, before playing a number of heartfelt favourites, including 'Need The Sun To Break' and 'Let It Go'.
Cue a sea of swooning couples, drunken swaying and pockets of grown men sobbing for the next hour. Playing with his talented backing band, (consisting mostly of old childhood friends) Bay rewarded fans with a few brief but impressive guitar solos that added to the live affair and left all who'd bought a ticket more than satisfied with the night.
