16 November, 2015: Brandon Flowers' The Desired Effect Tour hits London's Shepherds Bush Empire. The Killers' highlights came with 'Mr Brightside' and 'Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine', but it was with solo cuts like 'I Can Change' and 'Lonely Town' where he really shone. If you didn't manage to get tickets, see our photos here and the setlist below.
The Killers are set to drop a new album next year, but we've been kept more than satisfied with Flowers' immaculate solo output this year.
"I feel like in a lot of ways, I'm just starting to feel comfortable in my own skin and feel like I belong," Flowers told us when we interviewed him this year. "I feel like I probably share a similar problem with a lot of younger groups, younger bands and singers and things like that. We look up to these people, there's been so much great music in the last 50 or 60 years and there are so many people that are on pedestals and I'm guilty of putting them up there myself. It's difficult to step into those shoes, and now I'm ready to lace them up."
Brandon Flowers played:
Come Out With Me
Dreams Come True
Can't Deny My Love
Crossfire
Magdalena
Jilted Lovers & Broken Hearts
Jenny Was a Friend of Mine (The Killers song)
Lonely Town
Diggin' Up the Heart

I Can Change
The Way It's Always Been
Human (The Killers song)
Mr. Brightside (The Killers song) (Jacques Lu Cont Remix)
