The heavy metal Brummies are on their post-farewell tour
1 December 2015: Despite having completed their ‘farewell tour’ in 2011, Judas Priest was revived a few years later. Armed with their 2014 album, Redeemer of Souls and a backlog of 70’s heavy metal classics, the ‘Painkiller’ rockers are touring once again.
Whilst the bald 64-year-old front man, Rob Halford, may pay more resemblance to Walter White than his younger organic 70’s image, his gothic attire and rocking stage presence certainly captures the familiar energy of a Judas Priest gig.
The rest of the band was uniformly dressed in fitting black leather trousers, with an abundance of metal studs scattered across their black vests and jackets. Before the end of the year, the ‘Turbo Lover’ rockers are set to play gigs in Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic and Belgium.
