Muse: Long-rumoured for Glasto after admitting they'd 'love' to play this year, the band are currently among bookies' favourites to headling the Pyramid Stage. They're playing countless festivals across Europe this summer, but not yet announced for anything in the UK after their arena tour. Could they headline Glastonbury for a third time? Here's hoping for Drones over Worthy Farm...
LCD Soundsystem: The dance-rock heroes announced their reunion, a new album and a whole string of UK tour dates. The year could belong to them, and they're rumoured for a defining performance at Glasto 2016. Imagine hearing 'All My Friends' as they headline the Other Stage. Oof, goosebumps...
Radiohead: They could drop their new album any day now - and we assume it'll be out before their run of European summer festival dates. Again, nothing announced in the UK, so are they a shoe-in for Glasto? They're veterans, and have been known to drop in for a surprise secret set. If they don't headline, we'd put money on them showing up at random on the Park Stage one sunny afternoon...
ZZ Top: Looks like they've accidentally confirmed themselves, so prepare to see the Sharp Dressed Men bringing some old school class to the Pyramid Stage
Bring Me The Horizon: The last year has been pretty immense for the Sheffield metallers - fulfilling their longheld ambition of becoming one of the UK's biggest bands and cracking the mainstream. Expect them to seal the deal with a pretty prestigious slot at Glasto, with whisperings of them playing on the Other Stage this year.
New Order: The electro icons' latest album Music Complete was their finest in about two decades, so expect them to pick up a slot worthy of heroes at Glasto this summer. We think they'd be pretty awesome headlining the Other Stage. Fingers crossed.
Adele: She's sold more records than pretty much everyone else on the planet combined in the last year, and has overcome her fear of playing live for a pretty epic tour in 2016. Now, she's also rumoured to have overcome her aversion of mud to appear at Glastonbury. It's the daddy of all festivals, the one she was born to headline.
Prince: It just wouldn't be Glastonbury without an annual Prince rumour. We can but dream...
Rihanna: Her ANTI arena tour is in the UK at the same time at Glastonbury, and there's a gap in her schedule. Just sayin'...
Stone Roses: Ian Brown and co are returning to play some huge shows and festivals including T In The Park. There's word of a new record too - could they complete what's set to be a historic year with an appearance at Glastonbury? They're among the rumours, so watch this space.
Barry Gibb: The one surviving Bee Gee is reportedly lined up to appear in a double-legends slot just before Jeff Lynne's ELO. We could be dancing, yeah...
CHVRCHES: Their second album Every Open Eye was every bit as huge as we'd hoped, and we're expecting a pretty incredible victory lap when they roll into Glasto this June.
The 1975: We don't have time to type out the name of their new album - all you need to know is that it's amazing, and sees them well on their way to becoming a pop behemoth and future headliners. We can imagine watching their mighty ascent continue at Glasto this June.
The Last Shadow Puppets: There's a gap in their schedule on Glasto weekend during their massive festival campaign for comeback album, Everything You've Come To Expect. Two Glasto veterans and rock icons, it stands to reason that they should grace Worthy Farm this June.
