18. David Bowie – ‘Aladdin Sane’ - The Couldn’t perhaps be a more (in)sane cover to an album called, ‘Aladdin Sane.’ Beautifully evocative, the cover captures everything that Bowie was, and, was about to become in the 1970s. It does indeed show the birth of a pop superstar.

Poor list, some great covers and some really boring ones...such as all the beatles covers. Four guys walking across a crosswalk? really how interesting is that unless you are an absolutely obsessed beatles fan, why not feature the cover of the ’white’ album..i am sure beatles heads can tell you how genius it is...
