Modest Mouse: 'The Moon and Antarctica' (2000) - From the opening '3rd Planet' this is a sublime snapshot of singer Issac Brooke's inner demons before they spilled overground, screaming out to a wider world. Musically broader and lyrically more dense than their previous two records, 'The Moon and Antarctica' is undoubtedly the lofty zenith of Modest Mouse's career. Impeccable.

I was just thinking about this the other day. Can't argue with most of these although I am missing Beck's Sea Change, Bon Iver and CSS.
