Morning Parade - Gigwise has been behind Morning Parade since the very beginning. The Essex five-piece have said they can see stadiums in their future, and, if songs like Under The Stars are anything to go by, then who are we to doubt them. They are set to embark on their first headline UK tour in February."/>
James Blake - Like so many modern day music stars, James Blakes music career began in his bedroom. Since then (and it was only a year ago), hes blossomed into one of the UKs finest musicians thanks largely to his minimal take on dubstep. If there was ever a British musician destined to work with Kanye West, then its this Londoner."/>
Daley - Still only 21, Daley shot to fame in 2010 thanks to his vocal collaboration with Gorillaz on the track Doncomatic. Signed to A&M, the soul singer is braced to release his solo debut in 2011. Check out the video for Rainy Day now."/>
Katy B - Thanks to Katy On A Mission, 2010 was a big year for Katy B. But 2011 looks set to be even bigger for the Brit School graduate, who is set to release her debut album early next year. Studying alongside one of Gigwises other tips James Blake at Goldsmiths in London, Katy B slides effortlessly from dubstep to house, with a little UK garage in between."/>
Anna Calvi - Calvi has been trying to grind out a music career for nearly five years, but 2011 looks set to finally be her year. Signed to Domino Records, the atmospheric performer, who creates romance-tinged pop, released her self-titled debut in January. We expect the accolades to follow."/>
Wretch 32 - This London rapper has been on the scene for a good few years now, working with the likes of Tinie Tempah and Chipmunk, but now its his time. Still half-way through recording his debut album proper, Wretch 32 could well prove to be the future of British hip-hop."/>
The Naked & Famous - Not too many bands can lay claim to the honour of Big In New Zealand, but thats exactly what The Naked And Famous have achieved. The next step, however, is the world, and with electro-pop songs that blend MGMT and Passion Pit, it is seemingly their oyster. "/>
Esben & The Witch - Hailing from Brighton, Esben & The Witch earned their stripes performing alongside the likes of The xx and Wild Beasts. And if you listen to songs like Marching Song youll hear why. Look for the three-pieces experimental rock to soundtrack your stereos in 2011."/>
Willow Smith - Time for the compulsory Lets tip someone who should really still be studying award. In 2011 its Willow Smith - the daughter of Hollywood actor of Will - who turned heads with the single Whip My Hair at the end of 2010. Unsurprisingly, shell be heading out on tour with Justin Bieber in 2011 and, at seven years his junior, will probably be eager to emulate his success."/>
The Vaccines - Hype behind this London band, fronted by Justin Young (who formerly performed as Jay Jay Pistolet), only began towards the end of 2010, but it looks set to continue well into next year and beyond. The Vaccines alt-rock would appear to borrow heavily from bands like The Ramones, which is never a bad thing."/>
Mona - Gigwise first delivered you an insight into Monas world in summer 2010 and ever since the Nashville band have set tongues wagging. The apparent heirs to fellow compatriots King Of Leon, 2011 will see the group hit the UK for their first full tour. And dont forget to check out the as-yet-untitled album as well."/>
Yuck - Formed from by Cajun Dance Partys ex-guitarist Max Bloom and singer Daniel Blumberg, Yuck write the kind of angst-ridden pop music that makes you want to go and sit in a corner and take a long hard look at yourself. Yet, as Georgia, shows they someone manage to make it all rather uplifting at the same time."/>
Jessie J - The British Lady Gaga? Probably, if Do It Like A Dude is anything to go by. The Essex 22-year-old singer has already written for Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus and has seemingly got the world at her feet after picking up the BRIT Critics Choice award for 2011."/>
Clare Maguire - Want to know what our first thought was when we heard Clare Maguire? Kate Bush. Seemingly hailing from the same school of avant-garde experimentalism as Bush, Maguire posses a voice that will both enchant and haunt you at the same time, which, by any stretch of the imagination, is a rather powerful combination. "/>
Labrinth - Hes the man behind Tinie Tempahs epic debut Disc-Overy, but in 2011 Labrinth is hoping to set himself free of the shackles of just being a producer and build on foundations of his one-off 2010 single Let The Sunshine. Like his work with the aforementioned rapper, the production is polished, and when combined with Labrinths warm vocals, is quite a combination."/>
