The music world is coming to terms today (March 17) that Faithless will soon be no more.

Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo announced in a statement that they wanted to call time on the band's 15-year career.

And what a legacy they’ve left? From their stunning debut 'Reverence' right up until 2010’s ‘The Dance’, Faithless have provided most of us with some of our finest festival moments of the past decade, wih smash hits including 'God Is A DJ', 'We Come 1' and 'Insomnia'.

To celebrate, Gigwise has put together a series of photo highlights spanning the career Faithless

  • thank god for that. they are rubbish, always have been. coffee tabel dance music for guardian readers who can't find new music unless stephen fry tweets about it. under-imagined 'raps' that make my teeth itch, sloppy faux trance music too. give it ten years they'll be doing the 'retro' tour.
