    As another week races on by, it’s time once again for Gigwise to bring you all the news from the last seven days in bite-sized portions - just how you like it.

    This week the music world was shook by the sudden death of hip-hop rapper Nate Dogg, who died suddenly at the age of 41.

    Katy Perry, P Diddy, Rihanna, Chris Brown were among the stars who stepped into back Red Cross to help the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

    Teenage girls went crazy this week as Bieber madness landed in the UK as the singer played at London's 02 Arena, while on the festival front, The Darkness confirmed that they have reformed in their original line-up and will appear at this year's Download festival.
