June 30 2011 - Arcade Fire played London's Hyde Park earlier tonight.
Kicking off the show with 'Ready To Start' from their 2010 album 'The Suburbs', the band launched straight into 'Wake Up' from their debut album 'Funeral', followed by 'No Cars Go' from 2007's 'Neon Bible'.
Support came from Arcade Fire's string arranger, Owen Pallet, who kicked off the event in the afternoon with a solo set followed by performances from The Vaccines, Beirut and Mumford & Sons.
Punters could also attend special screenings of Arcade Fire's 'Scenes From The Suburbs' short film in the cinema tent. The Spike Jonze directed film was released earlier in the week as part of Arcade Fire's repacked 'The Suburbs' album.
