Charlie Simpson Rocks Newcastle Academy

June 30 – Charlie Simpson debuted his new solo album at an intimate show in Newcastle's O2 Acadamy.

The former Busted and Fightstar singer debuted tracks from his forthcoming album 'Young Pilgrim'.

Tracks from the album included latest single 'Parachutes' and 'Hold On', 'I Need A Friend Tonight', 'Suburbs', Farmer & His Gun', If I Lose It', 'Riverbanks' and 'Down Down Down'.

Simpson is due to release his Danton Supple-produced album on 'Young Pilgrim' on August 15.
