August 18 – Oklahoma's Other Lives play their debut London show at The Lexington.

Despite forming in 2007, last night (August 18) marked the first London show of Other Lives' career. With the quintet's second album 'Tamer Animals' set for release on August 29, the entirety of their set comprised of brand new tracks, including a showcase of current single 'For 12'.

The band then returned on stage for an encore of 'Black Tables' from their 2008 self-titled debut album, and a cover of Leonard Cohen's 'The Partisan'.

The band were supported by Greenwich Tea Party.

Other Lives will play Green Man Festival this weekend (August 19-21) before heading back to London next week for shows at The Forum on August 23 and Hoxton Square Bar And Kitchen on August 30.
