Brand then went on to make derogatory comments about the Jonas Brothers for wearing purity rings. Brand later faced criticism, yet apologised at the VMAs the following year by saying: �I upset the Jonas Brothers last year, I had to say sorry to them and they forgave me. They had to, they're Christians.�
