September 18 - Television stars from around the world descended on Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre to attend the 2011 Primetime Emmys.
Kate Winslet, Katie Holmes and Hugh Laurie were amongst those who walked down the red carpet.
Olivia Munn, Gywneth Paltow and Aimee Teagarden were also in attendance.
US sitcom Modern Family was the biggest winner on the night, scooping awards for best writing, directing and supporting actor and actress, as well as outstanding comedy series.
British drama Downton Abbey dominated the mini-series categories, while Kate Winslet continued the British success, picking up the award for outstanding actress in a mini-series for her role in Mildred Pierce.
