When you first go to University, you're normally shacked up with people that aren't necessarily suited to you. People that don't share your dress sense or taste in music, but because of the close, intense proximities you end up warming to them. I guess this is a lot akin to what the rock world must be like.
Musicians waste a lot of hours backstage, sharing the waiting rooms with a variety of other bands playing the same events as them. And so they put their differences aside and talk and truly get to know each other, bonding I guess through the stress of it all and how nobody else "gets it".
Just imagine, this scenario could one day lead Lady Gaga to be stuck in a holding pen with Morrissey. Although, I don't think they'd get along too well. Especially considering Mozza's staunch vegetarianism compared to Gaga's infamous meat outfit.
