La Roux's Elly Jackson is set to star in the New Years' episode of Absolutely Fabulous.
The singer revealed the news to fans over her Twitter that she would be staring alongside Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.
She wrote: Elly will make a guest appearance on the New Years episode of 'Absolutely Fabulous' on 1st January at 9.40pm on BBC One.
Meanwhile, La Roux could be hooking up with mates White Lies on her second album, it has been revealed.
The singer, who's currently working on the follow-up to her 2009 debut 'La Roux', began rumours early last week when she Tweeted: ''I’ve been writing with some friends from another band.”
On whether the band would be working with La Roux: ''It could happen but I don’t know. I can’t really say too much to be honest. We are good friends with her and we meet up from time to time,'' frontman Harry McVeigh told The Daily Star.
