From The Stone Roses To Lana Del Rey: Why 2012 Will Rock

Everyone's got those January blues right now as everyone is headed back to work as the world seems to deflate like a previously inflated now flaccid balloon.

The best way to cheer ones self up however is to look forward at the events that will make the year great. To be honest 2012 by all regards is actually already shaping up to be a good one.

In film perhaps the greatest event of the decade will unfold on screen with Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises'. I music we have new material cropping up from the XX, Lana Del Ray will release her debut 'Born To Die' and Tool are finally to follow up '10,000 Days'. In video games the closing days of this generation are due in the form of 'Mass Effect 3', 'GTA V' and 'Aliens: Colonial Marines'.

So cheer up, keep up the de-tox and most of all let's get this year off to big start.
