4 February 2013: The 2013 Kerrang! tour hit Manchester Academy last night and brought its own brand of chaotic rock along with it.
Alternative rock band Fearless Vampire Killers put on a theatrical show, followed by post-hardcore rockers Chiodos. However, Black Veil Brides managed to steal the show - despite the fact they were barely visible under all their trademark black leather and warpaint.
Black Veil Brides recently released their latest album Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones, a rock-opera concept record with an accompanying film, and - despite being a divisive band - they were still a hit with fans on the night.
This is the second date of the tour, which is set to take in Bristol, Southampton, Norwich, Liverpool, Glasgow, Newcastle, Sheffield and Birmingham before finishing at London's O2 Academy Brixton.
