Vitalic - Pascal Arbez has been releasing singles since as far back as 1996, but didn't release his first album until 2005. His 2001 track 'La Rock 01' has become a club anthem, and Arbez claims that everything on his album is made with a synthesizer, with the emotion in his music being the only thing he can't fake.
M83 - Antibes' M83 have become one of the few French bands to really succeed when it comes to taking their music to the rest of the world. In fact they didn't attract much attention until the worldwide release of their first album. Now they tour the world and remix artists as diverse as Goldfrapp and Bloc Party.
SebastiAn - Sebastian Akchot-Bozovic releases records both as a solo artists and as a producer for artists associated with the Ed Banger record label. Notably he recently produced Kavinsky's debut full length release.
Justice - Huge names within the electro scene, initially due to the Justice vs Simian remix of 'Never Be Alone' and their epic 'D.A.N.C.E.', Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay have recieved countless accolades from fans and industry professionals alike.
FEADZ - FEADZ took Daft Punk's idea and ran with it, incorporating a heavier hip-hop sound to his synth-driven elctro music. He's perhaps best know for his work with label-mate Uffie.
Jupiter - A French-British duo based in Paris taking the French synth sound further towards disco and house music than most other's on this list. They've had a string of successful releases on Kitsune, including last year's Juicy Lucy.
Kavinsky - The man of the moment in French electro, Kavinsky released his first full length album this week (February 25). He's mates with Daft Punk and Justice and had his song 'Nightcall' picked for the Drive soundtrack.
Miss Kittin - Since finding success in the late 90s with tracks like '1982' and 'Frank Sinatra', Caroline Hervé has been very much part of the vanguard of the French electro scene.
Uffie - Another artist combining hip-hop with synth-led electro music. Uffie released ex Dreams and Denim Jeans with her then-boyfriend FEADZ back in 2010, which is perhaps what she's best known for.
