Adam Lambert on performing with Queen: "It was such a tremendous honour to take the stage with Rock and Roll royalty earlier this year. Brian May and Roger Taylor are true gentleman who inspired magical moments on-stage and off."
Brain May on Adam Lambert being an angel: "We have a chance to do great things with Adam Lambert. He really is a wonderful foil for us, so it's a kind of gift from heaven, really. It's a lot of fun, too. He's nice to work with. He's fun and light and he doesn't have any airs and graces, and you know, he just gets on with it with us, and we seem to just, we feel like a family. It's nice."
Lambert on being pals with Freddie Mercury: "Brian, Roger and the band, they've been really cool about telling me stories about Freddie and kind of letting me into the kind of guy that he was. They always keep saying: 'Oh, you guys would have gotten such a kick out of each other. You probably would have made each other laugh. It's quite a compliment."
Brian May calling Lambert 'one in a billion':
"It wouldn't happen with, you know, a billion other people, but it just works with him. It feels comfortable and nice, and challenging, also, because he puts different interpretations on the songs, so it gets us to play a little differently. So, it's nice, it's alive."
Lambert on getting to know Brian May: "Brian and I had a lovely interaction, hes a cool dude, then we sang 'We Are The Champions', and we had talked about doing something in the future... Something needed to happen."
Roger Taylor takes the compliments up a notch: "He does bring his own approach and he has this amazing range, a gymnastic, beautiful tone and he really fits our material so well. He has all the elements - he has the passion, he has the humour, a little bit of camp. And when the shots are down, he has the power. It's incredible."
Lambert on being nervous about touring with Queen: It was such an honor to do a full, hour-and-a-half long set with them. I was so nervous, at first. I flew over to London to start rehearsals with them, and we only had 10 days scheduled for these big shows. It was a lot of material to learn, but they really made me feel comfortable.
Taylor proving once again how much he loves Lambert: "Brian and I love him to bits. He's fantastic on stage. He has this tremendous charisma, and he's got a range like I've never heard. It's extraordinary, actually."
Lambert on everything and everyone in Queen being cool: "They're really cool guys. It was almost like chilling on a family vacation with your grandparents - you know, with your cool uncle, and your cool grandpa. They're like the cool guys that partied in the 1970s, and they're telling great stories - and also telling me all kinds of things about Freddie Mercury, who obviously is like an idol. I got an inside scoop of what it was really like, which was really cool."
Incase you didn't know what Queen thought of Adam Lambert: "He's an amazing artist and a very nice guy. We keep in touch and have a good friendship."
Brian May on Adam Lambert: "He's extraordinary. It speaks for itself, his voice. That's one voice in a billion. Adam can do things which really I have never heard anyone else ever do in my life."
