Miley Cyrus at the VMA's: We all saw the skin coloured underwear, the suggestive foam finger and the twerk on Robin Thicke. It was an embarrassing show of Cyrus supposedly 'growing up' and she's the worst kind of role model for your young daughter.
Rihanna's 'Pour It Up' Video: Rihanna's never been afraid to flash the flesh and bring a little bit of controversy to the table. But do we really need to see her writhing around on a chair in next to nothing? Not really. It also makes you feel like she's having sex with your eyes. It was banned for just 10 minutes before it was allowed back. It should have stayed that way instead of it having kids copy her and listening to a terrible song with offensive lyrics.
Miley Cyrus' Terry Richardson photos: These surfaced shortly after the pair worked on video for 'Wrecking Ball' and gave us all far to much to look at in a barely-there leotard. A beer can was also used as a sexual object. The photo's also surfaced the day after Sinead O'Connars letter. Clearly Cyus doesn't mind being 'pimped' out by the music industry. Miley Cyrus' response to Sinead O'Connor's open letter: O'Connor was nothing but motherly in telling Cyrus she shouldn't let the music industry 'pimp' her out. But Cyrus didn't take it on board and instead made herself look like a complete b*tch replying with a tweet reading "Before Amanda Bynes There was' with a screen grab of O'Connors old tweets asking for help when she was mentally ill. Nice one Miley.
Britney Spears' Video for 'Work B*tch': We've all seen enough of Britney in next to nothing trying to make a music career for herself since her hey-day. But when is she going to realise its not going to happen even if you make a video where your whipping other women in BDSM clothing. Please just stop.
Katy Perry: Perry probably made the most hypocritical comment to add to the misogyny feud asking for other pop artists to 'cover up' instead of 'getting naked to get noticed.' We've all seen her in her video for 'California Girls' running around while barely dressed and squirting cream from her bra...
Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' Video: Topless models dancing around as Thicke sings 'you know you want it' and much worse. Maybe it wasn't supposed to be incredibly offensive to women, but it sure came across that way.
Selena Gomez and Lorde: Lorde slammed Gomezs' single 'Come and Get It' for just telling young girls to be submissive. Gomez responded with saying Lorde 'isn't a feminist' because she was 'tearing down other artists.' Erm Gomez did you even understand what Lorde was saying? Either way - a little solidarity here ladies, please.
Amanda Palmer responds to Sinead O'Connor on Miley Cyrus: "I want to live in a world where Miley (or any female musician) can twerk wildly at 20, wear a full-cover floral hippie mumu at 37, show up at 47 in see-through latex, and pose semi-naked, like Keith & co, on the cover of Rolling Stone at 57 and be APPLAUDED for being so comfortable with her body." Hmm we see where she's coming from but it's probably not the best way to make a point.
Chrvches' Lauren Mayberry hits back at rape threats: After receiving rape threats from posting about the perverted messages she'd receive from fans, the young songstress hit back with a piece in the Guardian. She made a point that women shouldn't being 'expected' to put up with misogynistic comments just because of her career choice.
