Lorde - 'I look like Gollum': New Zealand pop newcomer Lorde compared herself to Lord Of The Rings' character Gollum, saying she looks like the twisted hobbit when she performs live. During a Q&A with fans on Reddit, she said: "When I'm onstage, I don't think about how it looks, I just concentrate on really feeling what I hear - but I totally know I look like Gollum when I perform, so it's cool."

Joey Jordison leaves Slipknot: Slipknot fans were left devastated at the news that legendary drummer Joey Jordison had left the band. "It is with great pain but quiet respect, that for personal reasons Joey Jordison and Slipknot are parting ways," a statement read. "We all wish Joey the best in whatever his future holds."

Macaulay Culkin forms pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute band: Yes, that's right - Home Alone actor Culkin formed The Pizza Underground for some reason. Track titles include 'I'm Waiting for Delivery Man', 'All The Pizza Parties', 'Take A Bite of the Wild Slice' and 'Papa John Says' among others.

Justin Bieber retires, and then doesn't: Yeah. Biebs announced his retirement before his management denied it. This happened twice. It was very frustrating.

Marilyn Manson - 'I cried at The Notebook': Where's your shock-rocker now, huh? Marilyn Manson has admitted that, like millions of people the world over, he sobbed like a baby when he watched Hollywood tearjerker, The Notebook.

Kiss member's house burns down: Earlier this month, the foreclosed suburban home of Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley was burned down. No one was harmed in the blaze which firefighters attended. The authorities were alerted after a neighbour spotted smoke coming from the second floor or the building, with massive fire damage being inflicted on the roof.

There's no stopping Rod Stewart: Rod Stewart revealed that he was in talks to reunite with the Faces, and is 'ear-marking 2015' for a possible comeback. The rest of the band denied this, but still - it's nice to know that Rod Stewart is still very much functioning.
