We Are FSTVL: It won the Best New Festival award at the UK Festival Awards 2014, and looks set to be another brilliant event this summer with an awesome dance line-up that includes Disclosure, Fat Boy Slim, Annie Mac, Richie Hawtin, Knife Party and loads, loads more at Damyns Hall Aerodrome in Upminster. Desertfest: This is Kvelertak. They're and insane and magnificent force of forward-thinking metal, and reason enough to go to Camden's Desertfest this April. But lovers of hard rock are spoiled for choice with reformed Spirit Caravan also among the many acts booked.
Barclaycard British Summer Time: Now in its second year, this Hyde Park series of gigs mixes variety with a sense of the classic. Acts confirmed for 2014 include Neil Young, The National, Tom Odell, Backstreet Boys and McBusted.
Kew The Music: Taking place in London's idyllic Kew Gardens in Richmond from Wednesday 16 until Sunday 20 July, you can enjoy pop icon Elvis Costello playing a rare UK date, alongside world-renowned Abba tribute Bjorn Again, musical comedian Bill Bailey, 'Mr Boogie Woogie' Jools Holland and more. Sounds lovely, doesn't it?
Summer Series at Somerset House: Much more than riverside tourist haven and palatial gem on the map of Central London, but it's also the host of a series of charming gigs throughout summer. After last year's line-up included the likes of Goldfrapp, Richard Hawley and Of Monsters And Men, we're looking forward to another Midsummer Night's Dream or two.
Found: Hailed as a highlight of the year for dance-lovers in its inaugural event in 2013, Found will be returning on 14 June. The line-up isn't announced until 30 January, but we know that hosts and curators include Nofitstate, Love Fever and Krankbrother.
iTunes Festival: It may be in September when most festivals are starting to fade into memory, but make no mistake - iTunes bring the biggest acts on the planet to stage in the intimate and beautiful Roundhouse in Camden. Highlights of last year included Queens Of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Kendrick Lamar, Sigur Ros and loads more. We can't wait to see what they put on in 2014.
Wireless Festival: Moving to the much-improved grounds of Finsbury Park for 2014, Wireless returns by blowing it's load all at once with an awe-inspiring line-up that includes Kanye West, Drake, Pharrell, Outkast, Rudimental, Basement Jaxx, Ellie Goulding, Chance The Rapper and loads more. Amazing, eh?
Calling Festival: Dropping the name 'Hard Rock' but rocking no less hard, the festival has moved to Clapham and boasts the legendary headliners Aerosmith. As if a field of fists pumping along to 'Love In An Elevator', 'Dude Looks Like A Lady' and 'I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' wasn't enough, they've also got Joe Bonamassa, Thunder, and Walking Papers. Party on, London.
Lovebox: After a somewhat troubled year in 2013, the East London festival is coming back with a vengeance. This year the line-up includes A$AP Rocky, Chase & Status, M.I.A., Ben Pearce, Bonobo, Bondax, Joy Orbison, Mount Kimbie, showcasing some of the biggest and coolest names in modern electronica and dance music. Get yourself to Victoria Park this summer!
