12 June, 2014: In little over a year on the music scene, Jagwar Ma have developed a reputation for themselves as one of the best new live acts. Their staggering festival performances have blown minds (and eardrums) across the globe, and tracks from their debut album Howlin' seem perfect for blissed out summer afternoons and that oh-so familiar canvas scenet.

But last night, the band performed a very different gig, performing a show in Bristol Crown Court as part of the #LumiaLive session series. The intimate gigs have previously played host to a number of new and emerging artists, (most recently Years & Years in London's abandoned Aldwych tube station).
