Glastonbury 2014: first arrivals hit Worthy Farm
Oh sure, it's all smiles and hotpants now - but we hope everyone packed waterproofs
The music doesn't start until Friday, but after throwing open the gates on Worthy Farm today (Wednesday 25 June 2014), Glastonbury has already been flooded with early arrivals for the UK's biggest festival. See photos of the arrivals here.
The chirpy, fresh-faced, leg-baring arrivals at Glastonbury had better have packed for some grim weather, however, because despite arriving on site under blue skies and sunshine, the weather forecast for the weekend is bleak, with downpours predicted - and even the chance of some thunder and lightning. Flip flops and shorts are not suitable monsoon weather, FYI.
But for now, everyone looks happy, clean and sober. That won't last.
