Kaiser Chiefs get Glastonbury started with not-so-secret Other Stage set
Did someone predict a riot? Yes. Probably
27 June, 2014: And so it begins. After Thursday night shows from the likes of The 1975, Metronomy and more, Glastonbury has begun for real, with an early performance from Kaiser Chiefs, who kicked off Friday in style with an 11am slot on the Other Stage.
Billed as a secret gig, it was one of the worst-kept secrets of the year so far, with new breaking on Thursday of this week detailing exactly who, when and where the show would start. Other rumoured secret shows are expected to come from Skrillex and Mumford & Sons, while the more ambitious gossip-mongerers are tipping Coldplay or The Libertines to put in an appearance.
