Behind the paper bag: the 11 best photos of Sia on the internet
It turns out Sia takes one hell of a selfie

Sia is a remarkably open artist in many ways. She's spoken frankly of bereavements, struggles with depression, and the fact that she writes pop songs for pop stars, sits at home on her sofa with her three dogs and makes a million dollars. She also tweeted a fan to tell her that, "If you can avoid it, I suggest you never pay for my music." Basically, she is the Queen of the candid.
There's a strange paradox that overshadows all of this honesty though - Sia does not want to be famous. Despite the fact that she has written songs for some of the most famous stars in the world - Beyonce, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Kylie - not to mention six albums of her own, you'd be forgiven for not being able to pick Sia out of a crowd. In a recent performance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Sia performed face down on a bed while the less camera-shy Lena Dunham mimed along in a blonde wig. A few weeks later, she performed on Ellen facing a wall, refusing to turn around even when the host ran over to hug her.
We have to applaud her tenacity, but, predictably, it seems to merely be making her even more famous. It's not always been like this though. There was a time when Sia was posting selfies to Twitter and Facebook like there was no tomorrow, and they were wonderful, joyous things.
After trawling through the back-catalogues of the singer's social media and press shots, we've picked out the greatest pictures of Sia that exist on the internet. Look at these, satisfy your curiosity, then never ask her for a picture again. Deal?
