Artists can be a little possessive sometimes
Yesterday (30 July), Banks took to Facebook after many fans asked why she had given Neon Jungle permission to cover her song on their album when she hasn't released her own yet. The answer? "I was never asked."
It's not actually unprecedented, though, for bands to provoke the wrath of other artists by covering their songs.
