Florence and the Machine: Will 2015 see Florence finally make the step up to headliner? She's already headlined Latitude and Bestival, is R L the next step? It's likely, as she'll no doubt have a third album out by then and already has a huge following. You can't deny 'You Got The love' isn't a perfect festival encore as well.
Foo Fighters: The Foos will have their eighth album out and well and truly memorised by fans come summertime 2015, and they're fully regulars, a headline slot from Grohl & co surely makes sense right?
Kanye West: Yeezy fits the "unexpected" factor that Melvin Benn told us last weekend, and we know he can headline festivals after groundbreaking performances at Coachella, Wireless and countless others.
Daft Punk: We can't be the only ones that are surprised Daft Punk still haven't toured Random Access Memories. It's no doubt a long shot that the legendary robotic duo will headline next year, but we can still hope.
Metallica: After storming Glastonbury and silencing critics earlier this year, Metallica making a return to Reading and Leeds could be pretty special.
Foals: They've proved they can headline festivals before, and will also probably have a new album out by then. Foals are one of those bands that get better with every release, and we wouldn't be surprised if their next record took them to the giddy heights their sound has always deserved.
Jay Z and Beyonce: It's equal parts surprising and annoying that Jay and Bey's On The Run Tour is yet to come to the UK. Could they be saving it for some festival headline performances next year? Maybe Glasto is more likely? Time will tell.
Kasabian: Effortlessly filling the R+L headline slot in 2012 and storming headline slots up and down the country this summer, Kasabian taking on Reading and Leeds in 2015 could be a possibility, even if it is a bit soon.
The Strokes: It's been far too long since The Strokes played Reading and Leeds (or on British shores at all actually), so after a string of big dates in the States this summer, here's hoping they'll come back to us next year.
Slipknot: Slippy-K have made a surprise return in the last couple of weeks, dropping a HUGE new single with a new album also on the horizon. We feel Reading and Leeds would be the perfect place for them to showcase it, right?
Muse: These guys are no strangers to headlining festivals, and even used Reading and Leeds as a platform to give Origin of Symmetry a send off back in 2011. We reckon four years is enough time between headline slots for Muse to make a return.
Coldplay: Short of a couple of intimate performances, it was odd that Coldplay never toured Ghost Stories like all their other number one records. With their Glastonbury headline slot a bit too fresh to be repeated, an appearance at Reading and Leeds 2015 could be on the horizon.
