Muse: With no live shows announced for their 20th anniversary (yet) and the band currently in the studio working on their seventh record, it makes sense for Muse to return to the UK next year for a string of festival headline dates. It would make sense for them to perform at Reading, after their last performing there in 2011, but Isle of Wight or Glastonbury may also be on the agenda.
Florence and the Machine: Set to return with a new record next year, 2015 would seem like the right time for Florence to make the step up to headliner. Glastonbury would be a long shot, but we could maybe see her topping the bill at a medium size festival such as Latitude, Bestival or Festival No 6. Either way, next summer could be huge for her.
Jay Z and Beyonce: We're still confused as to why Jay Z and Beyonce haven't brought their acclaimed On The Run Tour to British shores despite playing seemingly every other country in the world (not that we're bitter or anything). Our guess is that they've been booked for some high profile headline slots next summer. Fingers crossed we're right...
The Maccabees: The Maccabees have been away for far too long in our opinion, though of course the wait is totally worth it if their run of astounding development with each release continues. With a new album due next year, 2015 will hopefully see one of the most innovative indie bands of the last decade step up to headline Latitude, Bestival or Field Day.
The XX: After announcing that their long awaited third album was recorded in both Iceland and Texas, we're incredibly keen to see how The XX will sound when they return next year. If their development to date is anything to go by, they'll definitely be big enough for headline slots - we'd predict Bestival or Latitude.
Foo Fighters; C'mon, this is obvious right? With a new album on the way, a recent run of UK club shows and a whole lotta buzz around their comeback, The Foo Fighters could play anywhere they want next year, which is why they'll probably headline at least a couple of festivals next summer (Isle Of Wight would be our pick).
Radiohead: Radiohead topping the bill at Glastonbury has been a rumour for years now, especially in the wake of the secret shows that seem to happen with at least one member each year. With a new album supposedly in the works though, next year could finally see them make a return to festival stages in the UK, possibly even Worthy Farm.
Fleetwood Mac: One of the strongest rumours for The Pyramid Stage next year, the bookies seem to think Fleetwood Mac will almost certainly be headlining Glastonbury 2015. To be honest we'd just be happy to see The Mac at any point next year, whether that's in a Somerset field or in an arena.
Alt J: No doubt due to their album's late-summer release date, this year saw Alt-J take a break from the festival circuit with only a few live shows in the UK showcasing their acclaimed new material. Could next year see them take their Mercury Prize-winning sound to headliner territories? They'd smash through Field Day to start with...
The Strokes: We know The Strokes can effortlessly headline festivals, and they have more new material reportedly on the way (once Julian finishes his solo album promotion). Therefore, an appearance from the indie icons at Reading would be a no brainer right?
Kanye West: Despite dividing opinion at Wireless earlier this year, there's no denying Kanye has become an incredibly worthy festival headliner in recent years. With a Yeezus follow up in the works, West could easily make an impact at one of the bigger UK festivals next summer. V Festival, T In The Park or a repeat at Wireless could all be part of the plan.
Queen and Adam Lambert: We obviously don't have to explain Queen's impact on modern music as we know it, and with Adam Lambert maintaining Freddie's legacy whilst bringing his own flavour to proceedings, a festival headline slot from the legendary group would be incredible. Much like with Fleetwood Mac, the bookies seem to think they'll play Glastonbury, but we're holding out for some other festival dates too.
Slipknot: Making a huge comeback in recent months, festivals like Sonisphere, Download or even Reading and Leeds are surely calling out for a Slipknot headline slot. With the group just announced to headline Rock AM Ring and Rock IM Park festivals in Germany, we're expecting some UK shows to be announces pretty soon (let's just hope they don't burn camel dung like at their own festival Knotfest).
Frank Ocean: Completely changing the hip hop world with his spectacular debut album Channel Orange back in 2012, next year will hopefully see Frank Ocean return and astound yet again. With a loyal following behind him and a stunning live show, we reckon 2015 could see him make the step up to headline a festival like Wireless or Bestival.
Kendrick Lamar: Majestically returning with 'i' just last month, Kendrick's third album looks to be taking a much more instrumental feel, indicative of his tight live show with a full band that has wowed audiences around the world over the last two years. With a new album in tow, next summer could definitely see him top the bill at Wireless.
Manic Street Preachers: 2014 has already been pretty huge for the Manics, with some massive festival shows under their belt, a critically praised new record released earlier this year and some forthcoming dates which will see them play The Holy Bible in full. In the wake of so much acclaim, we could definitely envision them headlining a Green Man or Festival No 6 next year.
The Cure: An easy choice of headliner with a barrage of hits in their arsenal, next year could see The Cure return, especially if the group's two new albums are completed. Their performance at Bestival 2011 was nothing short of spectacular, so we just cant wait to see them again in a muddy field. Festival organisers, get booking.
New Order: 2015 will see New Order return with a new record, fresh after signing to Mute Records recently. With a string of incredible headline slots already under their belt, could we see them top the bill at somewhere like Latitude? Here's hoping.
