These poor, deluded people think they've met celebrities

There's very little that's more exciting than meeting your favourite singer on a night out and getting a picture with them.

With the advent of camera phones though, some celebrities (we're looking at you Liam Payne), must get a little bit sick of posing for picture after picture with starstruck fans. Thankfully, the excited fans in this gallery don't need to worry about that - because they have in fact taken a photo with a random member of the public. 

Some of the 'celebrities' here, courtesy of Reddit, actually do bear an uncanny resemblance to a musician. As for the rest of them, we can only assume everyone involved was suffering from a particularly severe case of face-blindness.
