Will it be Ben Haenow, Mark Ronson or, um, Iron Maiden?
There have been a few reigns of terror when it comes to Christmas No.1.
The first was when Spice Girls managed to get three in a row between 1996 and 1998, and there seemed to be no end in sight. The second began in 2005 when Shayne Ward kicked off years of soulless X Factor No.1s.
Ever since, an internet campaign managed to knock the X Factor off the top spot with Rage Against The Machine's 'Killing In The Name' though, and Simon Cowell's grip on all things Christmas was forcibly loosened, the Christmas No.1 has become a level playing field once again.

Or it could be the Christmas single from viral football hooligan the Wealdstone Raider. Or, thanks to another campaign, Iron Maiden's 'The Number Of The Beast. The possibilities are endless.
