Drummer dislocates shoulder in the sea in St. Barths
Tags: The Black Keys
The Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney has been hospitalised following dislocating his shoulder in the sea in Saint Barths.
According to arch ambulance chasers TMZ: "Patrick was rushed to an ER and put under with anesthesia so doctors could reset his shoulder. The drummer is out of the hospital and recovering ... but we're told he's still in a whole lot of pain."
Despite this Carney himself seems to be in good humour, posting to his own Instagram "Tune into my new lifetime movie. "Dislocated shoulder" airing right now."
No statement has been made yet on whether this injury will affect the Black Keys European tour. Assuming that this is a temporary setback, the Black Keys are still set to tour the UK next month. Buy seats safely and securely with Seatwave.
The full list of tour dates are as follows:
Fri 27 February 2015 - MANCHESTER Phones 4u Arena
Sat 28 February 2015 - BIRMINGHAM LG Arena
Sun 1 March 2015 - GLASGOW SSE Hydro
Tue 03 March 2015 - LONDON O2 Arena
Wed 04 March 2015 - CARDIFF Motorpoint Arena
Thu 05 March 2015 - LEEDS first direct Arena
The Black Keys Turn Blue was the third best selling vinyl album of 2014 and the band have received three Grammy nominations for this year's ceremony.
