Pharrell Williams to guest star in an episode of The Simpsons
The singer will cameo as himself in an episode of the long-running show

Following in the footsteps of everyone from Michael Jackson to The Who, Pharrell has been announced as the next artist set to cameo on The Simpsons.
The singer will cameo as himself in season 26 (yes, really) of the show, in an episode which will be called Walking Big & Tall.
Pharrell joins a host of other non-musical guest stars joining the show this season, including Parks and Recreation's Nick Offerman, Will Forte and Sarah Silverman.
The episode will be loosely based on the true story of a Milwaukee TV station in the 1980s, who hired a composer to write a city jingle which he went on to sell to many other cities. In this episode, Pharrell will offer to write a new anthem for the town of Springfield. Given his proven ability to even make McDonalds sound good, we can't think of anyone better suited than Skateboard P.
There have been over 50 previous musician cameos on the cartoon comedy - including Aeromsith, Smashing Pumpkins, U2, The Who, David Byrne, Coldplay, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga.
