Tuesday 31 March: Rising folk songstress Marika Hackman played at Bush Hall in London, with support from Sophie Jamieson. Check out our stunning photos of her hypnotic set here.
Five gigs into her UK tour, Hackman played with a minimalist backing of only two string players, in contrast to the full band she led at shows in December, to captivating effect. The 23-year-old stuck largely to songs from her debut album 'We Sleep At Last', released this year, but dipped into her older material including encore 'Cinnamon'.
