Run The Jewels: The duo were joined onstage by Rage Against The Machine's Zach De La Rocha (for their collaborative track 'Close Your Eyes (And Count to Fuck)'), Blink-182's Travis Barker (for 'All Due Respect') and rapper Gangsta Boo (during 'Love Again'). Plus, to some punters' excitement, Kylie Jenner was spotted watching the act from the VIP area. But guest appearances aside, they put on a pretty magical performance, with El-P telling the crowd: "This is a dream come true".
Tame Impala: An hour-long set is plenty of time to fall in love with Tame Impala all over again, and their psychedelic light show visuals paired with their exceptional new material (highlight being new eight-minute-long tune 'Let It Happen') made for one magical Coachella performance.
Tyler, The Creator: Performing tracks from his fresh new release Cherry Bomb, Tyler, The Creator gave debut live airings to tracks including 'Deathcamp' and 'Fucking Young'. He also yelled out a fair share of "f**k you"s to people, including Kendall Jenner, who he spotted in the crowd, as well as to Jack White, whose headline performance could be heard in the background ( "Fuck Jack White...That shit is awesome" he said).
Hozier: Love him or hate him, theres no denying that 'Take Me To Church' is a massive track perfect for a festival sing-along. Plus, his set featured a guest appearance from Este Haim, who joined him to sing The Time's 'Jungle Love', afterwards telling the crowd: "That was so fun, holy shit!".
Ride: After recently kicking off their reunion tour, shoegazers Ride stopped by the Coachella stage to perform hits such as 'Leave Them All Behind' and 'Vapour Trail', getting everyone in the crowd even more excited about the band's return.
Marina & The Diamonds: Not only was Marina's own set a perfect airing of new material off of new album Froot, but she also joined Clean Bandit on stage during their performance to help debut a new track they wrote together called 'Disconnect', which is said to be from Clean Bandit's next album.
Florence The Machine: Every festival needs Florence Welch, especially a festival like Coachella, and she appreciated being there just as much as fans appreciated her being there, telling the crowd: "It really means a lot to be playing it in front of you". She treated fans to the perfect blend of hits (such as 'Shake It Out' and 'Dog Days Are Over') and new tunes (including 'Ship To Wreck' and 'How Big How Blue How Beautiful').
AC/DC: For their first show in more than five years, AC/DC proved everyone wrong by showing that rock does belong at Coachella, and that they were the ones to prove it. Despite there having been cynics who didn't think AC/DC belonged at the festival, frontman Brian Johnson proudly told the crowd: "I hope you guys like rock'n'roll, because it's all we do", and treated the crowd (including Paul McCartney and Justin Bieber)) to a set full of hits, such as 'Back In Black' and 'You Shook Me All Night Long'.
Drake: By now, you've likely seen the video footage of Madonna awkwardly kissing Drake. It was weird, and it shocked both viewers and Drake himself. But weird kiss aside, Drake's headline set gave fans live airings of a slew of tracks new LP If You're Reading This It's Too Late, along with a handful of covers, such as 'Trophies' (Young Money cover), 'Blessings' (Big Sean cover) and 'Who Do You Love?' (YG cover), along with a Madonna medley.
Jack White: The highlight of the weekend came from Jack White, who performed 20 songs taken from his three bands, giving fans an epic, career-spanning set, playing tracks such as 'Icky Thump', 'High Ball Stepper', 'Sixteen Salteens', 'Ball and Biscuit' and 'Hotel Yorba'. He also used his headline slot as an opportunity to dedicate one of his songs to all the transgendered people of the world, and encouraged the crowd to get out and support their local music scene.
