Why the **** use words when a “Ah ah ah oh ah oh” will do the job a hundred times better? The fan-bloody-tastic use this buoyant refrain to devastating effect on this indie-pop tour-de-force. Frontwoman Liz Neumays very much the two pronged lady, as she effortlessly slips between a hyperactive schoolgirl on the infectious chorus and a sultry diva on dark, twisted lyrics - “the latest fashion, a crime of passion.” Packed with energy and an unfeasibly contagious tune, it all builds to a screaming, electronic meshed cacophony, before the “Ah ah ah oh ah oh’s” lift the tune to a satisfying finale. Ace stuff.
