Australian duo The Presets are back, after two years out of the studio, with the follow up to the superbly named ‘I Go Hard, I Go Home’. ‘My People’ has the sort of grinding bass and ridiculously danceable, obnoxious posturing that uber cool label/promoters/choonsmiths Modular have become synonymous with. The song just builds and builds, as the band call to the crowd: “Let me hear you scream if you’re with me!”. There’s no less than 4 tidy remixes on the b-side from folks like Kris Menace and Mouse On Mars. It all goes in to make a solid return for the pair.
Released 11/02/08 on Modular.
