Aside from her support slot for Morrissey at the O2 Arena, this is the two-time Mercury nominee's only confirmed UK gig for the rest of 2014, and it's going to be very special indeed.
"On Saturday December 13th, I will be hosting a very special one off show in the beautiful intimate surroundings of St John Church of Hackney in London," said Calvi in a statement.
"The Heritage Orchestra - who I had the pleasure of working with for the Giorgio Moroder show at the Sydney Opera House - will be providing a string section and an all female choir, and I will be inviting past, present, and future collaborators on the night to join me as special guests on stage.
"We will be performing new orchestra versions of my album songs, some album songs that have never ever been performed live, new covers, and hopefully some new original material!"
Her past collaborators include David Byrne and Marianne Faithful, so maybe they'll make an appearance?
Anna Calvi will perform at St John Church in Hackney on 13 December. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 8 October. For tickets and more information, visit here.

As well as shows in Manchester, Oxford, Glasgow, Cardiff, and London's Koko,he former My Chemical Romance frontman will also play at London's Brixton Academy on 23 January.
Fans hoping to hear MCR songs during the shows will be disappointed though - he recently told NME : "There was a moment when I was weighing up the options, but it just doesn't feel like the right time yet. I didn't feel this strong urge to do it.
"I also wouldn't want to false advertise, I don't think it's the sort of thing I'm going to be doing a lot. If it does happen in the future it will be because it's the right thing to do."

The hugely hyped shows were announced earlier this month after much speculation and rumour, and Manics fans have begun celebrating their ticket purchase.
Very excited about getting tickets to see @Manics Holy Bible 20th anniversary show in December!

Phew! Was beginning to think all the @Manics tickets were gone, but got some through the Roundhouse site! https://t.co/p0obslfY0Z

It's payday! And I got Manics tickets! Here's a song to celebrate https://t.co/pVrTHMJz2w

Sorted tickets to see the Manics play The Holy Bible in full, so happy I could poo (but I won't).
— Raff (@SteRafferty) September 26, 2014
Others, however, have expressed reservations about attending the show without Richey Edwards, who went missing in 1995 and was declared presumed dead in 2007. The album was written while Edwards was suffering with severe depression and anorexia, the lyrics are largely detailing his personal struggles.
Manics doing The Holy Bible live? No thanks, that's Richey's album - leave it alone.
— Claire Butler (@CLButler76) September 26, 2014
Is The Holy Bible tour a ploy to get Richey so mad he'll show himself? #manics
— Refusenik (@Refusenik) September 26, 2014
Oh well. I shall console myself with the fact that it's not The Holy Bible without Richey. (It's not much, I'm fuming with myself)
— Hannah D'Arcy (@_hannahdarcy) September 26, 2014
It'll be rubbish without Richey anyway...
