Before Encino, the star spent a few years in his traditional-style home in Toluca Lake. He stayed there from 2015 to 2018. The property was bought for $1.24 million and sold for $1.5 million. The property was initially built in 1923 and was upgraded by the artist after being bought.

Tracy Brim, his mother, contributed as a pastor to the society. Frank Brim, his father, worked as a Chicago Fire Department Battalion Chief.
