"I get people tweeting me saying 'oh, you've ruined the fucking band'," Bring Me The Horizon's Jordan Fish tells Gigwise. "Then I look back and two tweets ago they're going 'oh, this song's so sick' - what the hell's wrong with you?"

Of course, it takes a special type of band to prove so divisive. One whose every setlist may prove a journey of opinions as some howl back the lyrics while other stand baffled in disdain. For Bring Me The Horizon though, that special something is what's made one of the biggest bands in the UK. Their shape-shifting ways have celebrated all corners of rock, and made them one of the biggest bands in the UK. As their UK tour steps into gear, we talk to the 'Throne' and 'Drown' heroes about their fans really want.

"We're notorious for being that band that change every album," says frontman Oli Sykes. "I think it's only a bit of a naiive fan that would think we're going to do the same thing twice. That's what makes things exciting and keeps people coming to our shows and stuff. You actually don't know what's next.

"Although people say they don't like that, I think they do - there's nowt more boring than when a band have a new album out when a band go 'this is our heaviest, most intense, darkest stuff yet. And you go 'oh, for fuck's sake it's not is it? It's the same record again because you don't know what else to do. It's a load of shite, isn't it?"
