It's a pretty bold for any band to have an album that's self-titled. It tends to mean that this one very record has captured the true essence of the artist. For The Ordinary Boys, it's especially brave - especially as this is their first album in nearly a decade.

Fortunately for The Ordinary Boys, their 2015 comeback record is packed with all that originally made them great. It's one hell of a ride of youthful punk abandon, Mod style and swagger and oh-so-British honesty and sincerity.
A true gem at the heart of the record is the bittersweet 'Losing My Cool', which Preston and guitarist Louis Jones kindly swung by our offices to perform, brightening up an otherwise damp and shitty London afternoon. Put anything about Big Brother or Buzzcocks aside and just focus on the music - drift away with a cracking record. It's good to have you back, Ordinary Boys.
